4th Annual Multiple Miles for Myeloma Walk & Run

Our annual fundraiser Multiple Miles for Myeloma (5 km Walk 5 & 8 km Run) is happening on Saturday, July 28th, 2012. Visit the Events section or download the Event Brochure to learn more. Mark your calendars, register and start collecting your pledges. And don't forget to ramp up your training! We look forward to having you help make this another successful event!!

SAMM is committed to providing support to myeloma 'warriors' and their caregivers through a variety of channels. Monthly support group meetings are offered for those wanting to connect with other warriors and caregivers. We also host a conference every two years that delves into the various facets of myeloma. SAMM organizes an annual fundraising event to raise money for research and education of this disease.

Thank You to the Calgary Naval Veterans Association The Southern Alberta Myeloma Patient Society is very pleased to be the recipient of a generous donation from the Calgary Naval Veterans Association. A cheque was presented to Carol Westberg, SAMPS co-founder and president, by Mr. A. Downey (pictured) at the Calgary Naval Veterans Association meeting on February 11, 2012. This $1,000 donation will be used to help defray costs for the 2012 Multiple Miles for Myeloma Walk/Run. Thank you very much for your support!
